Learn how to add Google Analytics Tracking ID and script code into blogger.
Step-1
Search and Open "Google Analytics"
Google Analytics offers hierarchies to organize your
account. You can have up to one hundred Google Analytics
accounts under one Google account. You can have up to 50 website properties underneath one
Google Analytics account. You may have up to twenty-five views beneath one website property.
Step-2
Google Analytics Welcome Page
- Google Analytics Welcome Page appears.
- Click Set up for free .
Account Name
- Account setup page appears.
- Account name is required.
- Click Next
Step-4
Choose Web or App
- Page appears, 'What do you want to measure?'
- From an option from "Web", "Apps" and "Apps and web"
- Click Next .
Step-5
Property Setup
- Give property details, such as website name, website URL, Industry Category and Reporting Time Zone.
- Take care while choosing http:// or https://.
- Click Create .
Step-6
Google Analytics Terms of Service Agreement
- "Google Analytics Terms of Service Agreement" page will open.
- Tick "I also accept the Data Processing Terms........"
- Tick "I accept the Measurement Controller..........."
- Click I Accept .
Google Analytics Dashboard
- Google Analytics Dashboard will open.
- A popup appears, click Got It .
- Dashboard contains Tracking ID and Global Site Tag.

Step-8
Analytic Tracking ID
- Copy the Analytics Tracking ID.
- Open Blogger, choose Settings , then Other .
- For header 'Analytics Web Property ID', paste the copied ID.
Once you are finished, you will click the Get Tracking ID button. You will get a popup of the Google Analytics terms and conditions, which you have to agree to. Then you will get your Google Analytics code.
Step-9
Analytics script 'Global Site Tag'
- In Analytics, under header "Global Site Tag (gtag.js), copy the entire code.
- In Blogger, click Theme click Edit HTML ,
- Under <head> tag, paste the copied analytics code, click Save Theme
Note:This must be installed on every page on your website. The installation will depend on what type of website you have.
