Note:- To verify the blog ownership, use either "Domain" or "URL Prefix" option.
Blog Ownership Verification (via "Domain" option)
- Open Google Search Console- The following screen will appear, click Start now .
- Choose "Domain" and enter your blog URL.
- A popup with 2 options appear, "Domain" and "URL Prefix"

- Copy your blog site name (no "https://", no "/" at the end)
e.g. "mywebsitename.blogspot.com"
- Paste this link into Domain's url area, click Continue .
- Popup appears "Ownership auto verified", Click Go To Property
- Paste this link into Domain's url area, click Continue .
- Popup appears "Ownership auto verified", Click Go To Property
- Click Start .
Blog Ownership Verification ("URL Prefix" option)
- In
"URL Prefix" option, paste blog full URL, click Continue
- Popup appears "Ownership auto verified", Click Go To Property
- It will lead to Google Console Dashboard

Add a meta tag to your site's home page
- As Google Search Console Dashboard has appeared now, choose "Settings" from left sidebar.
- For header "Property settin gs", choose "Ownership verification"

- Open Blogger, choose "Theme" from left sidebar, then click Edit HTML .
- Paste this code under <head> section, before the first <body> section.
- In Google Search Console, message "Successfully verified" appears for "HTML tag" under header "Verification methods used"
- In Google Search Console, choose "Sitemaps" from left sidebar.
- For "Add a new sitemap", type "sitemap.xml" ahead of your URL followed by '/'.
- Click Submit .
- Popup appears "Sitemap submitted successfully", click Got It .
- Under heading er "Submitted Sitemaps", you will find the sitemap name, submitted date, status and total number of posts under header "Discovered URLs"
FACT:
Sitemaps can’t list more than 50,000 URLs, and they can’t be more than 50mb in size. If your sitemap exceeds one or more of those figures, then you’ll need to create more than one.

an organization chart, or an XML document that provides instructions to search
engine crawl bots.
- For "Add a new sitemap", type "sitemap.xml" ahead of your URL followed by '/'.
- Click Submit .
- Popup appears "Sitemap submitted successfully", click Got It .
- Under heading er "Submitted Sitemaps", you will find the sitemap name, submitted date, status and total number of posts under header "Discovered URLs"
FACT:
